‘Natural immunity works’: Renowned John Hopkins physician, Dr. Marty Makary, takes aim at CDC for rejecting it.

Natural Immunity Works

A renowned physician and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the U.S. said during an interview on Tuesday, May 25, that nearly half the country has natural immunity to COVID-19 due to previous infection, statements that contradict CDC guidelines, which impose vaccination as the only way to acquire immunity to the CCP Virus. He even pointed out that rejecting such natural immunity was one of the biggest failures of medical leadership, the Daily Caller reported.

During an interview with journalist Vince Coglianese for his radio program “The Vince Coglianese Show”, Dr. Marty Makary called the rejection of natural immunity “one of the biggest failures of our current medical leadership.”

He also disagreed with those who try to ‘demonise’ people who acquire such immunity and do not wish to receive the vaccine, arguing that it is a reasonable decision, since “natural immunity works.”

But for health authorities who draw up official guidelines to enforce it in the population, naturally acquired immunity from prior infection seems to be off the table, and they continue to ignore scientific evidence to support it.

In this regard, Dr. Makary lamented the lack of guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for those who were infected but have recovered from the disease.

CDC only Promoting Vaccination

According to another article recently published by the Daily Caller, the CDC made headlines by updating its guidance to remove most restrictions on Americans who have been fully vaccinated against the CCP Virus. This demonstrates once again that their strong interest is to promote vaccination as the only way to gain immunity against the virus and the only way to be free of masks and restrictions.

Meanwhile, Anthony Fauci, according to Business Insider, claimed that receiving immunity by vaccine is better than waiting for natural immunity. But his statements remain fraught with contradictions that generate uncertainty and suspicion.

For example, on ABC’s Good Morning America, he admitted that after being vaccinated he had been wearing the mask indoors to avoid “giving mixed signals”, even though it was not necessary from a medical perspective, the news outlet reported.

Questions about the efficacy of the immunity gained, and even whether vaccinated people could spread the virus, have plagued the debate over whether and when to reopen states, localities, and businesses.

Effectiveness of Pre-Infection

A recent three-month investigation by scientists from the Israel Institute of Technology, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem aimed to assess the effectiveness of both pre-infection and vaccination protection in preventing subsequent infection, using the Pfizer vaccine for the study.

The results showed that the natural immunity generated by people who were infected at some point in time is slightly higher than those who were vaccinated.

While the difference in immunity between vaccinated and unvaccinated was not that great, the result raises the question of why governments around the world only follow the recommendations of health authorities who push for people to be vaccinated, without evaluating other alternatives, such as natural immunity to the CCP Virus, which many doctors such as Dr. Makary, advocate.
