Mandatory stay‐at‐home and business closures
The European Journal of Clinical Investigation published an investigation paper to assess the effectiveness of lockdowns and business closure. Assessing Mandatory Stay‐at‐Home and Business Closure Effects on the Spread of COVID‐19.2
Lockdowns and business closures are referred to as NPIs in the report (most restrictive non‐pharmaceutical interventions) for controlling the spread of COVID‐19. The journal article states ”given the consequences of these policies, it is important to assess their effects”. Many doctors including those that formed The World’s Doctors Alliance3 to defend people’s inalienable human rights, freedom to travel and freedom to work, have been outspoken in their concerns on the detrimental negative stressful psychological effects of these government measures, with the results being seen filling their hospital emergency departments during lockdowns such as suicides, domestic violence, child abuse, addictions such as alcohol abuse.
The researchers first estimated COVID‐19 case growth in relation to lockdowns and business closure of 10 countries: England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, and the US. They used case growth in Sweden and South Korea, two countries that did not implement mandatory stay‐at‐home and business closures, as comparison countries for the other 8 countries (16 total comparisons).
Results of the Research
Implementing any Lockdowns was not found to have any clear, significant beneficial reduction effect on Covid case growth in any country. In France, e.g., the effect of mrNPIs was +7% (95CI ‐5%‐19%) when compared with Sweden, and +13% (‐12%‐38%) when compared with South Korea (positive means pro‐contagion). The 95% confidence intervals excluded 30% declines in all 16 comparisons and 15% declines in 11/16 comparisons.
The research results do not find significant benefits on case growth of more restrictive Lockdowns. and the data shows that similar reductions in case growth may be achievable with less restrictive interventions.
The Centers for Disease Control currently estimates a COVID-19 survival rate of 99.99 percent for people younger than 50, but the damage created by the panic was too great to undo.4
Wearing Masks has also been proven to be ineffective in the effect of stopping COVID-19 spreading.5 For one, the U.S. surgeon general and the Centers for Disease Control both previously said that:
“Masks are NOT effective in preventing [the] general public from catching coronavirus,”
So they were already starting with a credibility deficit.6 Furthermore, many officials have been frequently caught without masks when they think the cameras are off them. According to Yinon Weiss , Dr. Anthony Fauci, has been caught doing this multiple times.7
